Dear Belmont,

I would like to start this letter off by saying thank you for allowing me to live out my dream each and every day. I grew up watching Belmont games, dreaming about the day that I would get to play in a Belmont uniform.
I watched all of the guys before me play and I wanted to recreate everything that they did. The way they shot, the way they defended and most importantly the way they handled themselves off the court. I remember attending the “Meet the Bruins” nights and getting to interact with the guys that I idolized. There was not a single person who
left me disappointed. The first bracket I made every year when Belmont made the NCAA tournament had
the Bruins winning it all. Last year, I had the opportunity to play a few minutes in our NCAA Tournament game against Maryland in Jacksonville. Everything came full circle; I was the player on the floor that my younger self dreamed of becoming!

To me, Belmont means family. With the countless hours that we spend in the locker room, on the court and in the weight room, it’s so important that the guys in our program are good people. The three teams that I have had the privilege of being a part of have been close knit, encouraging and competitive. Whether it’s playing pick-up games in the summers, video games in the dorms or putt-putt at the Miller’s – competition brings us closer together. Because of Belmont, I have gained a group of brothers and a lifetime of memories. Belmont is truly a special place and I truly appreciate the loyalty of Bruin Nation. Once a Bruin always a Bruin!

Thank you for everything!
